The bracket on rear is very disappointing but I removed it and used 3M double sided tape to fix it in place

This is what they sent for rear

After routing the wire up the car I removed the two rear upper trims, fed the wire through the rubber grommet and drilled a small hole at the rear of trim so if it has to come out it won’t show.
I removed metal camera bracket and replaced with 3M tape.

First impression, camera’s front/rear have good image quality but need to do night driving to be sure.

Car looks great!

Do the cameras work when the car is off, or do they only work/record when the car is on?
Is there an app that you can access the camera feed on?

Yes it has app to access footage but I think it only records when ignition is on, you can get additional lead to have it on all the time.

Just had another look at footage last night and it’s very clear, app is easy to use too, also I did find a setting for when car is parked, you would need extra lead. I think I’ll just stick with plug and play for now.

We have 2 Thinkwae F770 dashcams from a previous car. They do parking monitoring but unsure quite how that works with EVs. The monitoring used to stop to preserve the 12V battery when it dropped below a certain voltage threshold e.g. 12.3v. Unsure if the drive battery is constantly topping up the 12v batteryso it could run indefinitely.

I think battery is same principle as ice car but for this to work as you know you’ll need to hard wire or fuse tap.
I did a bit of digging for live fuses when ignition is off but ended up going for the plug and play, may have another look at this later.
