Dealer said that production with Pilot L starts in week 25, due lack of chips
Expected delivery: week 40, 2022

Nice, the specs seem to be different on the continent to the UK, our trim levels are V1, V2, V3. And we don't have any of the Pilot Option packs available to choose. As someone said here before it was supposedly to stop us ordering cars they couldn't make so they can get some on the road.

I’m in the UK and was able to order the Pilot L option. That probably explains why my delivery is estimated early 2023 despite placing my order in March.

Oh, my bad then. It certainly wasn't available in the pre-order stage. I would have liked the 360 camera. I've just looked though and i still cant see those as an option in the builder:

I think it’s included as part of the intelligent park assist, which you get in the Tech L pack.

I doubt it. The UK brochure makes no mention of the 360 camera, I think on purpose as that part has had massive supply issues.

My dealer had the option to select the Pilot L pack when placing my order, even though the details were not advertised on the public website.

I should be getting the following:
Intelligent park assist
Rear cross traffic alert
Top view camera
Exit warning
Emergency assist
Side assist
Travel assist

I paid £525 for this option. The Pilot L pack is separate to the Tech pack, I selected M for the Tech pack.

I don’t think that UK dealers were promoting the pack, I had to specifically ask for it. I was first told it was not available but by the time I placed my pre order my dealer had checked in with head office and was able to add it to my order for me

Yeah the fact you'll need to wait until 2023 for that makes sense. It definitely isn't promoted or advertised as an option anywhere. Travel assist and the top down camera would definitely have been nice, but then again waiting a year for the car isn't so nice.

As a side note, £525 for all that sounds so much better than the similar amount for Tech M considering that is just the wireless charger and keyless entry

V3 77kWh Tech L with heat pump ordered 30th March. Just been informed build week 24 now confirmed.
