Was this you in Hartlebury?
Finally spotted another VZ!
Hi
Do you use the drop down menu to turn off the speed limit warning and if you do does it stay in the drop down menu each time you turn the car off and on again.
I have the lane keep assist as one of my favourites and the speed limit button as well but each time I turn the car off and on again the speed limit button disappears and I have to set it as a favourite each time I start the car.
Thanks

I've replied in the other thread. Yep, it's a safety feature. They make you 'safer' by stopping you adding it to favourites so it's more distracting to find it each time.bigjay wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 8:43 am Hi

Sometimes it stays in the favourites but other times it disappears.
Its just annoying that it wont stay in the favourites.
Do you have any problems with the wipers.
I could not get the wiper delay to work in setting 1 or 2 until I turned OFF "automatically wipe when its raining" in the wiper settings.
I have only had the car just over 2 weeks and I have got it booked in at Cupra to have a look at the above but they cant get me in until 20th March.
Thanks for your help.

No, the wipers work fine. I've never looked for a setting because I'm not sure what that would change.bigjay wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 11:28 am Dirk1978

The favourites thing I'm sure is a design choice. It's never stayed there for me. Are you sure it happens sometimes for you?
Hi Dirk
The settings are in the wiper setting where you can put the wipers into service mode, its the first option where it says do you want the wipers to come on automatically when it is raining.
When I got the car this was set to yes but the delay options on the stalk would only give me Off, speed one or speed two, as soon as I turned off the setting I got the slow delay and the fast delay as well as the off ,speed one and speed two.
The favourites thing definitely stays sometimes.
I appreciate your help.
Can you throw any light on the battery % and range.
I charged last night and it is showing 80% and 243 miles but if I go out to the local shop, when I come back it will show say 77% and 140 miles.
This happens all the time, it never gives a true value.
I have had a few electric cars in the past and they have all shown the true % and range left.
Could this just be a VW software problem.
Thanks Again

Perhaps you're not going far enough for it to calculate the drain. Mine seems pretty spot on most of the time. 77% and 140 miles is clearly nonsense but maybe it's got to work itself out. Sorry can't help with that.bigjay wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2025 8:40 am Hi Dirk

I've never seen the speed limit warning favourite stay. I don't see how it can because it's not meant to so either you have a different build of the infotainment software or something faulty maybe.
Hi Dirk
Thank you for your reply.
I have found a slightly easier way to switch the speed limit and lane keep assist off.
1. press favourite drop down menu button.
2. press the first button on the left of the favourites.
This brings you to a page that has four options
speed limit
lane keep
attention monitor
drowsiness monitor
For some reason the attention monitor stays off but the other three have to be switched off every time you start the car.
Thanks again
