Hello,

I bought a 1 year old Born at the beginning of August. After first weeks I'm more than happy :) , however I'm struggling to find an information when the online shop will be enabled for Cupra. I know that it does work already for VW and Skoda. I would like to purchase navigation and adaptive cruise control. Do you have any idea ? Nobody from local dealers are able to answer that question. I also contacted import however no relevant information obtained. Thanks a lot and if this topic was discussed here sorry for spam, but I did not find it.

I don't know anything about the online shop for Cupra. So far the only thing that is available (at least here in Portugal) is the Cupra Charging service.

Do you know if your car has all the sensors and hardware necessary for adaptive cruise control? I think it's standard, but not sure.

Hi thanks for your answer. Yes I did. confirmation from the local dealer that I have all HW needed, however it was not "clicked" at the time the car was ordered and only way to enable it is to wait for the SW update, but nobody know when it will come. The HW is there because the car is keeping the distance on the highway automatically when I come close to the car in front on me. It does not have navigation, however predictive/adaptice recuperation is working (e.g. when entering the city or entering to the roundabout. So most probably in case I would like to enable navigation system, I need to wait for SW update that will enhance the shopping basket in the infotainment.

Further, also My Cupra app seems to have lack of functions comparing the video I see on YouTube. E.g. I cannot see if the windows are opened, just the status of battery, air-condition and that's all. Im little bit disappointed :)

If your car is keeping the distance to the car in front automatically on the highway, then you have Adaptive Cruise Control, that is what it does. Maybe you are asking about "Travel Assist" which is additionally keeps the car in the lane automatically without you needing to steer?

If you have left a window or door open, it will show up on the app. However, you can't close the windows remotely. The app is a bit basic and also very unreliable.
