Siri went bananas on me this morning, “proceed to the route proceed to the route turn left turn right proceed to the route…” - I could see on the map my location was flicking between different roads, all about a mile away from where I actually was.

The internet suggests wireless CarPlay uses the car’s GPS (which makes sense, as soon as I got out of the car my location corrected). First time it’s happened in a month-ish of ownership; not sure if it’s something I should take to Cupra/VW - anyone else had it?

It's a well known issue with CarPlay, it affects many different makes and models of car, but it's not clear what causes it. Fortunately I have never seen it.

You are right, CarPlay uses the GPS from the car, not your phone.

Well, I do not have a big problem GPS for navigation, but with using the Cupra Charging app.

Here you can see that even when I by the charger and hooked it up the app showed that it was too far away to connect via the app?

Today I tried it on 5 different charging stations and only one was accurate enough so I could use the app?
