Locate Car

Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible via the Cupra App to locate the car while it is driving? I know the location is there when it's parked but as soon as the car is moving that disappears. This was possible in our last car, and despite how good the Cupra is the mobile app functionality seems really out of date.

From what I can tell from using it it only gives the location data when parked.

Thanks. That's a shame. Another step back from our previous car. Such a shame as overall the car is great, bit parts of the technology seem very lacklustre.

Surely you know where the car is because you're in it?

Stalking other people is illegal.

Does tell you this in the app as well.

It's a parking position, not a current position because of the privacy implications. You can't track other people driving the car because there's no way to get their consent.

If you want to do that, use something like Google maps location sharing on their phone.
