it's a shame that dashcams aren't integrated in more modern cars these days, especially EVs which have the battery tech/capacity to do this.

Also when you consider there is literally a camera in the front windscreen already, it surely wouldn't be much of a stretch to make it double up as a dashcam lol.

Totally agree, I think Tesla have this, most cars have windscreen and reverse camera’s so wouldn’t be hard for manufacturers to adapt them.

Re. cams: Not sure about UK laws but in Germany that type of monitoring isn't allowed due to privacy laws.

Really like the look of the FitCamX dashcam..

Is it really as simple to fit as shown in the video, how long did it take to fit yours ?

Are you pleased with the fit and the quality of the recordings ?

I may go for one of those myself !!

Takes ten minutes to fit front cam, look’s factory fit, plastic matches perfectly, quality of recoding’s is good, but if you option rear then add another hour.

I won't be fitting the rear, just the front.

Yes it has GPS, speed and location, I bought mine from FITCAMX through Aliexpress, took about 3 weeks to come.

It is good to confirm with an owner the the FitCamX has GPS location and speed logged with the image.

I couldn't find this info anywhere, so I was assuming it wasn't supported.

Any chance of an image, just to see what the picture quality is like, and how the GPS info is recorded on the image ?

Just a quick update, although it’s showing gps map can’t get it to show so I need to connect them to see if it’s me or it’s not available.
