Off peak charging doesn't need the app.i only use the app to check that i probably set the charge routine up correctly on the e-manager. And i never believe what the app says.

In U.K. the app and the features it provides are quite substandard, quite often crashes or doesn’t load, so it’s working progress but I’m not sure what the experience would be completely without it?
Do you guys have smart charging there? (Off peak low tariff)
As that relies on the Crapu app

Can I ask what the equivalent cost of the Born is there please?
You just buy a home charger that has that function built in, so not a big deal.
We have a simplified trim spec here, only the larger 77kWh battery + E-Boost. Plus extra for colours

$59,990 AUD plus on-roads (varies state to state) = £30,979
$2,900 AUD Interior pack - adds beats sound, fancy seats etc = £1,500 or so
$2,600 AUD Performance Pack - 20" wheels, DCC = £1,300 or so

We get 360deg camera, parking sensors, lane centring and park assist as standard, induction charging etc
We dont get travel assist plus , or GPS guidance, no mobile connection for the car. Which was ripped out cause VW Australia can't get its shit together
