Used v2 Born can’t connect app to it

Hi - we’ve just purchased a used 2022 Born v2.

When trying to connect the My Cupra app to it we enter the VIN number but then can’t connect it up as we think the previous owner has not delinked from the car… the user tab in the car is greyed out also so we can’t reset to factory defaults.

We’re not sure what to do.. can anyone help please?

We are UK based if this is relevant.
