Your use of km rather than miles suggests you're not in the UK - whereabouts are you? The drum brakes shouldn't be doing a lot in normal driving, but I haven't tried seeing how hot mine get (I am in the UK). If they are excessively hot, then drum brakes being partially seized on would be a possibility, but you should see a sizeable reduction in efficiency as a result.

Was there any smell of burning? It's quite normal for brakes to run a little hot as the breaking process after all is achieved through friction.MarcozBorn wrote: ↑Thu Aug 11, 2022 9:10 pm Hi, Someone has touch the drumb brakes?

I'm from Italy, my Born e-boost has only one month and 1500 km (900 Miles).
I know that Is normal for brakes to run hot as breaking process, but After 50km of mororway without significant breakes, front disk was colder than rear drumb

Today I drove 35km in motorway, 130 km/h and the drumb brake was warm: not hot, but not cold.
Is it normal?
Is it normal?
I'm doing a 60 mile Motorway run later today. I will check mine and let you know how they are. If there was a binding fault I would think it would be on one side not not both.

After 60 miles rear drums were warm, maybe 45C. Ambient was 32C so that seems reasonable to me.

Okkk, thank you very much.
I'd like to obtain maximum efficiency from my car.
My rear drumb brake goes same times better other time worst but I will ask to the dealer to check because the rear drum must be cold if I dont't brake.
Sorry for my poor English
