Hi all...i've seen this done on other forums and thought it might be fun to have a thread going on here where us forum members can either list or show off some of the the cars they've owned before they found their way here...

Mine is varied but includes;

Vauxhall Cavalier - engine died
Rover 400 - everything died
Ford Focus - nice car, sold at 90k miles
Ford Cougar - US coupe, not the Kuga SUV
BMW 320si
BMW 320d
BMW X3

Fiat Punto - great car but after picking it up couldn't find reverse and got stuck in a cul de sac and had to ring the garage to rescue me!
Subaru Impreza - only a 1.6L but great all round visibility like a fighter cockpit.
Mazda 3 - current - Diesel, great range, one thing I'll really miss. For the longer trips I've done it saved 50% of my fuel costs compared to previous

I would have to pull out my records. I have owned a lot of cars, the reason being is that I drove a lot of older used cars from my teens well into my 30's. I did not get a brand new car until after I was in my 40's.

I'll post me list shortly with a few pics if I can fine them.

- Renault Clio 1.6 16v petrol - little go cart, ace
- Vauxhall Astra 1.6 petrol - a car.
- VW Golf SE 1.6 - a car
- Mazda RX8 190hp - Amazing but DRANK fuel (and oil)
- BMW 320d M-Sport - nice motorway cruiser, turbo blew up.
- Audi A3 1.9 eco diesel - a nice enough car
- VW Scirocco 2.0 diesel auto - loved this car but couldn’t fit newly arrived kids in it.
- Fiesta 5 door thing - stop gap
- SEAT Ateca 1.4 TSI Auto Xcellence - dad bus, but a nice car to drive for an SUV.

I love this.

Ford Ka-my first car.
Renault Clio mk2.5 - great car and felt really posh after Ka.
Renault Megane mk2 - really dull.
Mini Cooper mk2 - fun!
BMW 118d coupe - great, solid car.
BMW 118i mk2 - ok in isolation but disappointing after mk1.
Audi Q3 - terrible reliability and pretty boring.
Merc c220d coupe - my favourite car but so expensive to maintain.
Merc A200 mk4 - great interior but terrible suspension.
VW Golf mk8 - gets slated but I love it. Wish they still made electric Golfs.
Cupra Born Geyser Silver

Short and sweet for me!

- Mk 7.5 Ford Fiesta Zetec. 1.25L & 85 BHP. A great first car but you needed to book an appointment to overtake a cyclist!
- Mk 8 Fiesta ST-3. Cracking car! lovely sounding 1.5 3-pot with around 200 BHP. Great for b-road blasts but a bit too jiggly for my commute now.

Just waiting on my V2 now!

Lots of very different cars from people here. I may have missed a few. Also had some old bangers to go on banger rallies around Europe too.

1979 Ford Fiesta 950cc (used as much oil as petrol)
1982 Vauxhall Nova 1.3SR (loved this car. Someone wrote it off.)
1984 Vauxhall Nova 1.3SR (wasn't the same as the original, was nicked.)
Some old fiestas & cavaliers
1991 Honda Civic 1.3 Bali (great car, tractor drove I to it)
1992 205 1.9 CTi (my first convertible)
1997 Ford Probe (cheap from a mate, head gasket went)
1995 Peugeot 306 (why did I buy a French car?)
1992 Honda Civic CRX VSi (Loved my CRX's)
1994 Honda Civic CRX VTi (with the electric roof, loved this, had it 10 years)
2004 Honda S2000
2018 Seat Ateca 1.4 Xcellence (Kids arrived!!)

2015 Golf R
2013 Golf GTD

2007 Golf GT Sport 170TDI
2004 Golf GT 140TDI
2001 Polo Sport 1.9TDI 105ps
1999 Polo 1.4TDI
1988 Saab 900 Turbo
1987 Citroen AX GT (Seriously dangerous to drive)
1986 Peugeot 205 1.6 GTI (probably the most fun car i've had)
1986 Golf Driver 1.6 (GTI Lookalike)

That doesn't include 3 of the wife's cars. All bought new except Citroen, Peugeot, Golf Driver and the Saab.
2022 V2 E-Boost L-Tech Pack - Aurora Blue
2023 Audi S3 - to avoid rapid charging on long journeys.

2005 - Mazda Eunos (MX5) S-Special 1.8
2009 - Nissan Micra 1.2 S
2016 - Nissan Leaf 24kWh Tekna
2021 - VW iD.3 Life Pro
2022 - Cupra Born V1

So I've actually 'owned' more EVs than ICEs! Probably due to working in a garage and having a company car prior to my Mazda (loved that car 😪).
2016-2021 - Nissan Leaf Tekna 24
Sept 21-July 22 - VW ID.3 Life Pro Moonstone
July 22 - Cupra Born V1, Vapor grey, Tech Pack L, 19" Typhoon alloys
