Hopefully with the increase in production rates with the move to three shift working that should be brought down a little. Also, it would be that one train to Emden that serves the whole of the UK and Ireland's orders, so you'd hope that that train fills fairly often.

Got word mine is expected at the dealers next week which is more than the 10 days promised (unless they were working days). The Ateca has gone now by way of motorway who got me £1000 more than the trade in offer with Cupra Leeds. Would def recommend. Fingers crossed it turns up now… So jealous of those who’ve managed to snag the dealer stock.

Ordered about three weeks ago (77 in Aurora blue with copper wheels) I’ve been told it’ll be another 6 more months at least… ;-(

And very nice too. The blue really suits the Born.

Very nice. I have to say I do like the V2 alloys (I've got a V2 as well). And regarding colours either the aurora blue or quasar grey (which I've got) seem to be the best ones. Of course other opinions are just as valid! ;)

Quick question for you - have you washed or sealed the car yet? The paintwork on our Aurora blue feels like 6000 grit sandpaper - in over 20 cars bought new, I've never experienced this. I suspect the car has been poorly prepped. It looks glossy enough, but applying my sealant with a Tyvek lint free cloth, the paintwork even sounded like it was being sanded (barely audible scratchy sound). I'm presuming all fresh cars come in like this and have a quick machine polish and wax at PDI to get rid of it, or there are protection film residues left. Just wanted to confirm it isn't characteristic of the Aurora paint?

Tech-M is the wireless charger, keyless entry and something else I can’t remember.

No, not washed it yet, haven’t had chance, but had just been raining and has been really windy, so it’s really dusty. The clean bits look ok so far, will report back when I get chance to wash and seal it.

Parts of the car do feel as smooth and glossy as they should - mainly the door handles (hence why I didn't notice at pick up) and tops of the front wings. I think they've been lazy at PDI and not removed protective film adhesive residues.
