Re: My Cupra App not working tonight

Yeah, the SSL certificate has expired on the backend and it won't work again until VAG renew it as the application will (quite rightly) reject the expired one

Re: Update 3.2.1 now available - TPI 93S2

They said they need to keep it two days now instead of one… just hoping I get new tyres out of it  I did, but ironically I've now got Contis on! Apparently, they had 4 x Goodyears ready to go, and then fitted two to another customer's car that morning so had a mad scramble to find something......

Re: System Update

FWIW, had no problems with this update once I'd messed with the windows a bit and turned the sidelights off (WTF?). It then sternly informed me to get out and lock the doors and leave it for an hour to finish. All seemed ok.

Re: OHME home Pro, Hypervolt or POD Point - Sorry

Mine is an Ohme. It works fine, as a dumb power supply: I plug in and do all the charging controls from the car, not the MyCupra app or the Ohme charger or the Ohme app. The Ohme app doesn't recognise the Cupra (not mine, anyway) so it can't tell how much charge is already in the car. WIth the conf...

Re: My Cupra app

They've hit new levels of buggery-uppery today. Apparently, a change made on their back-end last night has caused all Cupra Borns to be continuously waking up (you can even hear the clicking of the HV battery in and out) which is resulting in the LV battery (i.e. the normal 12v car supply) to be fla...

Re: System Update

You'd have thought the dealer would have picked up on that?! Can I ask why the car was at the dealership? It was in for two recalls - tyres and bonnet catch - and they mentioned that there was an outstanding update, but as I'd not seen anything, I said "it's probably already installed". W...

Re: System Update

My wife is reporting the same on our car, but I'll admit that I'm yet to play with it myself as I've not driven it for a few days. She says that almost every day she's being prompted by an unclickable update prompt.

Annoyingly, it was in the dealer last week and they could have sorted it out :/

Yes, indeed my Ohme Pro was installed through Octopus EV.

Re: OHME home Pro, Hypervolt or POD Point - Sorry

Ohme Home Pro here. It's been mostly ok with the way that I use it - charger controlled schedule for overnight charging. That said, it does still, occasionally, drop to slow charging (<3kW) overnight due a long-standing timing bug between the MEB platform and certain chargers (also affects the ID.3)...

Re: Should I Buy A Born

Yes the 77kwh Born has only two rear seats because the space under the third seat is used for extra battery storage. I was under the impression that it was to do with chassis weight limits which is also why (initially, at least) you couldn't order it with the panoramic roof. Perhaps I was wrong tho...
