Re: Launch control?
Haha true.
I don't need it, I was just asking if it had it and if it was safe to use, but it doesn't sound like anyone on here can confirm either way, so I'm going to assume it doesn't.

Re: AC charging fault
Just a quick update on this, my car is now repaired and back with me in under 2 weeks. Apparently it was a faulty Onboard Charger Control Unit (I understand there are a few different Control Units on this vehicle) rather than a problem with the charger itself, which was causing the vehicle to not c...

Re: Launch control?
Isn't launch control pretty pointless for an EV? On an ICE car you've got to sit there with the revs up to getthe engine in the sweet spot of its torque curve before you shoot off, but with an EV, you get full torque as soon as you mash the throttle. All you really need to do with the cupra is floo...

Launch control?
Sorry if this has already been asked, but when I tried searching for 'Launch control', it told me the words were too common?! So does anyone know if the Cupra Born has a form of launch control? I can't find anything in the manual or online to suggest it does. I've come from a 2020 Mk7.5 e-Golf which...

Re: AC charging fault
Many other owners have had electric drive faults pop up. It's either an issue with the motor or if it still drives, there's a problem with the high voltage heating system. Hope you get it sorted quickly! Thanks, I wasn't so worried about the electric drive warning as the car still drove the same wi...

AC charging fault
Had my new Born V1 all of 2 days and it's already been recovered back to my nearest dealer, Cupra Southampton (65 miles away) with the 'Electric drive not working correctly, please visit workshop' error on dash, but more worryingly it wasn't charging on my PodPoint solo charger or on other public AC...
